LIFE IS CYCLICAL

Deja vu?

Once upon a time I lived in a quaint little house with my 2 dogs. During that time I left a career I thought I would be in for life, started a new journey into a career that I never knew was actually a thing, and started to build a life, mind, and body that I could only dream of.

During that time my enthusiasm was off the charts. It was hard but every day I got up and did it with full enthusiasm and drive. Looking back now it’s hard to see the moments where I fell down, struggled, or was out of commission due to working too hard and not taking care of myself.

Your memory is a funny thing like that. It turns your experiences around in ways that you might not even realize when it becomes a memory. Sometimes you completely leave out parts that were the most transformative…unless you’ve trained yourself to hold onto those, anchor into them and use them as guiding posts as you move through whatever life brings along your path.

Back then I hadn’t learned about anchoring yet (i have a podcast episode about it if you want to know more). I didn’t know about how I could pull on past memories, anchor into the parts that really impacted me and use those to manipulate (in a good way) the way I navigated other things that came my way into experiences that I could learn from, not be beat up by. Experiences that were less “rough” than they probably used to be, ya know- before I know what I know now.

And like I’ve been telling you lately in some of my writings…life is cyclical.

Currently I’ve been experiencing that in full force. I’ve had situations come back around in different form, in different elevations that are quite obviously teaching me another layer of the things that I need to know.

Like sitting here on the floor in my make-shift doggy hospital room with Mac’s head on my lap. Taking calls from this “office space” for the next few weeks, only leaving his side to pee and get food and even then- running back into the room to make sure he doesn’t get up, lick, or hurt himself.

We did this many years ago. For 18 weeks, I only left the house to go to the gym. The rest of the time was spent running my business from basically a floor pillow fort. So grateful for amazon, grocery delivery, and mostly THIS LIFE I’VE BUILT. Because you see, my clients don’t care if I’m conducting our calls from the floor with my dog. In fact, they care so much that they start by asking how he is, but we don’t skip a beat- straight from that we’re back into talking through their current experiences, mindset shifts, tasks at hand, challenges, triumphs, and whatever in between. Trainings are taught from the floor. Programs are created from the floor.

The value is the same.
The result is the same.

Where I do it from is quite frankly irrelevant.

And I’ve built it this way.

This was all intentional. And these past few weeks while we’ve had quite the large amount of curve balls thrown at us, I’ve found myself back in that old house, back in that enthusiastic mindset, and most importantly with a renewed- even more grounded sense of WHY I’M HERE, Why I built this, and how it really flows it’s best.

I’ve called my power back in a way I didn’t know I needed to.

Grateful doesn’t begin to describe it.

Yes, Mac has cancer. Yes he lost his leg. Yes I’ve been sick, sicker than I have in a long time.
But I choose to see the gratitude in it all. I choose to see the grand design in it all. I choose to see how everything that these last several weeks has churned up IS IN SERVICE.

The quantum leap that comes from these moments is what makes it all worth it.

From that little house to this grand life… the best parts remain the same and that is the foundation that makes me who I am, what I am, and what I am here on this planet to do.
