I feel like I keep repeating this in my head daily; “Not everyone wants to see your light”.

But that doesn’t mean you should let “them” keep you from shining.

It’s not your job to MAKE them see, or keep them from covering their eyes. It’s your job to stand in the place of your truth and shine. No matter what.

It doesn’t mean that you let their negativity darken your light either.

It’s way easier to jump into those negative conversations and try to explain or justify yourself. But that’s not your job. Your job is to guide, and you guide by standing and shining.

Even when you feel the urge to jump down off of that rock and pull people around, DON’T.

That’s not going to help them and quite frankly it’s going to suck the life and energy right out of you.

Your energy is WHY you shine.

It’s what fuels your fire, what allows you to shine in the first place. Keep it where it belongs. Protect it. Don’t spill it out into the water because that doesn’t help anyone… Not one bit.

Daily reminder: Not everyone wants to see your light, but that doesn’t mean you stop shining.
