^^^ How many of you have received this call from a friend, family member, or old colleague?
How do you respond?
My expertise in the field I was in prior to becoming a full time lady boss is something I still use daily and teach to others you are trying to get ahead in that industry. And yes, I’m flattered when I receive a call offering me a position.
BUT on the other hand, it stings a little when it’s coming from someone who is close to me and knows how IN LOVE I am with my Coaching Business and following my passion.
This happened to me today and I simply said, “I appreciate the offer but I only have one plan, and its to continue to build this life I love.”
<Insert Awkward Silence Here>
That pause, where the person on the other end has no idea what to say. They don’t see your business as someone real. Something worth your time. They just don’t get it.
But guess what? THEY DON’T HAVE TO.
You see your dream. You know your passion. You are the one that wakes up every single morning with that spark inside of you. You have the drive and determination to build your empire.
