Sometimes I miss being an Operations Manager.
It was a job that I rose to pretty quickly and honestly, thrived at.
Not to toot my own horn or anything but I am REALLY good at managing businesses.
I still do a lot of that within the scope of coaching with many of my clients now and I’m not saying I don’t love it, because I do. I love helping people with the whole picture. Their business reflects on their personal lives, it always does. It reflects on them, on how they are treating themselves just as much as how well they are “managing” the biz. And being able to not only create the balance, but keep it is something I truly do love. It’s a gift that I am forever grateful for.
Business Management is another breed in me, though. It’s the hands in every moving piece, handling all of the things, orchestrating what is happening where and by who. All of the plates in the air and it being on me to make sure they stay spinning… that rush, that challenge… most people hate it. But I thrive on it. It brings me joy… as weird as that may sound.
That’s why consulting helps. It helps me scratch that itch without being a fulltime manager anymore.
Did you know that I used to offer full Project Management services? Yep, I virtually managed all of the moving pieces of my clients businesses. Communicated with their team, contractors, and clients to ensure that everything was flowing the way it needed to, all was on task and being delivered timely and to the clients standards.
I Loved It.
But imagine taking on 4 clients in that scope of work… I didn’t sleep. and if you’ve been following me for a while you know how much I value my sleep, lol.
A few months ago, due to COVID demanding so many businesses start working virtually- I released a couple management consulting packages for the first time in years.
One offered monthly sessions, team evaluations, structures, and big picture guidance to the manager or business owner to make them better and more efficient along the way… because a team is only as good as it’s manager.
And the other was a “Done For You” structure set up. Meaning, I evaluate the business, it’s needs, and your goals. Then create a structure plan with systems and operating procedures to boot. I set everything up, train you and your staff if needed on how to use everything and provide a plan on how to keep it going in this direction. This one is more “a la carte” and customized to the clients needs so price and scope varies but man, it’s a game changer… both are really.
You see, it’s smart to hire someone who’s a genius at the things that you’re not such a genius at. We’re all better at different things and these things just happen to be second nature to me. It’s the way my brain ticks… even though it’s something most people hate doing.
So, it just feels right to offer this service to the world. Because how selfish is it to keep this little secret to myself when I know people can benefit from it… and more importantly-they NEED it.
If this is you, if you need help in this area, send me a message and let’s talk. Maybe one of these options is the perfect fit for what you’ve been struggling with… or avoiding…
It doesn’t hurt to ask, right?
