I was standing at the fair last night and couldn’t help but overhear a conversation that two women were having about how bad it sucked that they had to go to work the next day. Yes, I also was tired and the thought of waking up at 6 am the next morning didn’t sound too exciting to me either. But they went on to say “ya, but tomorrow is Friday and then we have the whole weekend to do whatever we want. I WORK FOR THE WEEKEND. I LIVE FOR THE WEEKEND”.

I just kind of sat there in disbelief for a moment. Those words rang in my ears and for a moment I felt like I flashed back to a day when I used to think the same thing… But then really, I never did that. I always worked every weekend. For as long as I could remember.

I enjoyed my life regardless of my work schedule or how many jobs I had. It was about “the weekend”, it was about life.

And in the same moment, I was so grateful that I do not possess that state of mind. That I live for every day. I live for each experience. I live to learn everyday. I live to do this life my way every day.

Maybe that is the key? Maybe that is the differing factor? I live life MY WAY EVERY DAY. And most people don’t do that. They tow the line and go to a job they don’t really like, to pay for a bunch of stuff they don’t really get to use, just so they can “live for the weekend” and then Monday comes and they do it all over again.

My question is, Is that really living?

Is what you’re doing on Saturday and Sunday worth not enjoying 5 days of the week?

That basically means that you only enjoy 3% of your year.
104 days out of the 365 that you get…
2 days of the week and that’s it?

What if you shifted your mindset and allowed yourself to get up and LIVE FOR EACH DAY?

What if you decided to make the most of every day that you’re given?

These days are gifts. They are opportunities. Chances to create. Chances to impact. Chances to make memories. Chances to create the best life you can.

And instead you squander them?

You wake up late and go into a job just to make money so you can enjoy your Saturday?

Yes, I am one of those people that believes that everyone has the choice to create their own reality. Simply, because I’ve done it and I’ve witnessed hundreds of other people do it too.

While I’m not saying that every person needs to quit their day job and start building a lifestyle business and love every single day because you have freedom, because honestly… Not everyone is cut out for this life. What I am saying is YOU CAN CHOOSE TO LIVE EACH DAY TO THE FULLEST.

You can CHOOSE to love your life every day, not just on Saturday and Sunday.

It’s all a choice.

I want to see people take advantage of this amazing opportunity that exists… the amazing opportunity that you get every single morning when you open your eyes and get to head into a new day.

Choose to enjoy it.
