It was a Saturday, we were at the lake.. I was closing in on the last 3 days of a launch and someone booked a call. In the middle of my Saturday get away…
So what did I do? I went boating, set an alarm to go off 15 minutes before the call and we pulled into a random cove when the alarm sounded.
I sat on the front of the boat in my swimsuit, staring at someone’s boat dock as I turned my best friends favorite toy into my floating office for a bit. Client calls and closing deals out on that water.
Moral of the story: Design the life you love and work can look however you want it to
